COVID-19 update regarding iLINKS 2020

iLINKS Innovations, due to take place in July 2020, has been rescheduled.

The iLINKS Innovations Event Team has taken the decision to reschedule the iLINKS Innovations conference and exhibition that was due to take place at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool on Thursday 9 July 2020.

The current national focus is on delaying the peak of the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) to the summer and our top priority is to help local services ensure that they can provide patients with the care they need. As our event was planned for July, we do not think it is appropriate to divert staff time during what we can expect to be a period of increased activity for the health and care sector.

The proposed rescheduled date is Thursday 5 November 2020.

All delegate bookings for the event will be transferred to the rescheduled date. However, if you are not able to attend on this date and wish to cancel your place, please do this via the Eventbrite website which is where you made your original booking.

The iLINKS Innovations Event Team will be in touch with all those supporting the event including sponsors, exhibitors and speakers to answer any questions and discuss plans for the rescheduled event in further detail.

Why are you rescheduling?

I booked to attend iLINKS Innovations taking place in July 2020, will my booking be transferred or will I need to re-book?

Your delegate booking will be transferred to the rescheduled date which is Thursday 5 November 2020 and you will not need to re-book your place. However, if you are not able to attend on this date and wish to cancel your place, please do this via the Eventbrite website which is where you made your original booking. I can no longer attend iLINKS Innovations 2020, what do I do?

Due to the unprecedented situation surrounding coronavirus (COVID-19), this year’s iLINKS Innovations conference and exhibition has been rescheduled to Thursday 5 November 2020. If you are not able to attend on this date and wish to cancel your place, please do this via the Eventbrite website which is where you made your original booking. How do I cancel my event ticket on Eventbrite?

Step 1: Go to the Eventbrite website.

Step 2: At the top of the screen, select Sign In

Step 3: Enter your e-mail address and password

Step 4: At the top of the page, select Tickets. This will display the tickets for all of the events you have registered to attend through Eventbrite.

Step 4: Select the ticket for iLINKS Innovations 2020 conference and exhibition.

Step 5: From here you have the option to print your ticket, contact the Event Organiser or Cancel Order. Select Cancel Order.

Step 6: You will be asked whether you are sure you want to cancel the order. Select Yes, Cancel This Order. Your ticket for iLINKS Innovations has been cancelled.

What happens if the rescheduled date gets cancelled? 

We are continuing to monitor the situation and follow the guidance provided by the Department of Health and Social Care, and Public Health England. Any decision regarding the cancellation or postponement of iLINKS Innovations 2020 will be assessed following internal discussions and communicated via email to delegates directly and via our website and on our Twitter page @iLINKSInnovator.

Will any sessions be made available virtually?

At this time, there are no plans to hold any aspect of the event virtually. Any further updates regarding iLINKS Innovations will be communicated via our website and on our Twitter page @iLINKSInnovator.

Accommodation booked through Travelodge

If you have made an accommodation booking through the Travelodge accommodation detailed on our event page, please contact the hotel directly to amend your booking in light of the rescheduled date (subject to availability).
