Inaugural Cheshire and Merseyside Digit@LL Awards

New for 2019, iLINKS X will be hosting the Cheshire and Merseyside Digit@LL Awards on Thursday 4 July 2019.

In celebration of the anniversary of the iLINKS Innovations conference and exhibition, these awards aim to recognise and celebrate innovative work and digital technology developments over the past 10 years that have delivered real benefit to the local health and care economy.

The awards have been aligned to the key themes of the Cheshire and Merseyside Digit@LL Strategy.


Award categories

 

Empowerment award

The Digit@LL Empowerment Award

This award aims to recognise those projects that have used digital technology or innovative ways of working to empower people, whether helping healthcare professionals communicate and share information better or by enabling people to access the care they need quickly and easily.

Enhance award

The Digit@LL Enhancement Award

This award aims to recognise those projects that have used digital technology or innovative ways of working to enhance quality, safety, patient experience and outcomes.

Connect award

The Digit@LL Connect Award

This award aims to recognise those projects that have used digital technology or innovative ways of working to connect healthcare professionals and share information across care boundaries.

Innovation Award

The Digit@LL Innovation Award

This award aims to recognise those projects that have used cutting edge technology to deliver and support innovative care.

Secure Award

The Digit@LL Secure Award

This award aims to recognise the important IT and cyber security work taking place locally to support digital developments in order to deliver resilience and assurance.

 

In addition to the category-specific criteria above, the judging panel will be looking for the following from submissions:

  • Innovation, ambition and creativity.
  • Evidence of a collaborative approach with excellent stakeholder engagement.
  • Evidence of a clear strategy and good management.
  • Supporting evidence that the nomination has made a difference e.g. improved efficiency.
  • Evidence that the nomination has achieved or is well on the way to achieving what it set out to do

On the day, there will also be a Digit@LL People’s Award, where delegates will choose their overall Digit@LL champion by taking part in an electronic vote using Slido live at iLINKS X!


Nomination entry process

To submit a nomination, download and complete our entry form below.

There is no restriction on nominations. However, you will need to fill out a separate entry form for each submission. Entry criteria is dependent on your chosen award category above, so please take care when filling out each entry form.

In the spirit of digital, you must include a brief one-minute supporting video. If successfully shortlisted for the ‘Digit@LL People’s Award’, this will be screened at iLINKS X.

The deadline for nomination entry is Friday 21 June 2019. All submitted nominations will then be reviewed by our expert judging panel including both clinical and digital representatives.

Finalists will be announced on Monday 1 July 2019, with winners revealed at the iLINKS X conference and exhibition on Thursday 4 July 2019. If you wish to attend iLINKS X, please ensure you book your place online.
